This kick start the sharing from 4 super blogger - Christine Ng, Grace Tan, Daniel Ang & Pete Breitkreutz. On when and how they start with their Journey of blogging. THIS definitely most people was wondering about.

#1 Question to everyone on "Why Blog?" You can write a diary, keep photos, make videos - Why you want to Blog about it? And how long you have been blogging. What are the Interest & Marketing % about?

1st from Christine, started 7~8 years ago when she study in University at Australia. So she blog from PG13 to R21, begin to blog about her life style to her parents & friend. She real enjoy writing articles and journal, so all these come with 80% personal Interest and 20% marketing intention. (there was a side story about Xia Xue - but forget already)

2nd from Daniel Ang, 6 years ago he get involve with OMY activities and start to blog about food he likes. His uniqueness are he blog from dual languages (First Chinese, English then combine). Being involve and work as Teacher, Fitness Instructor etc, makes his blogs full with education guideline, so the blogging is about 90% self interest and 10% for profits.

3rd from Grace Tan, her inspiration is simply wanted to know how and what are other's secret of their success stories. From just doing research till interview the person itself, then keep the research in her blog. Discuss about them, getting a lot of good comments - till now he became a full time blogger. She giving up her annual S$140,000+ income to chase towards her passion. And people that understand her professionalism and started to pay her to blog about and give them an interview for publicity. This start from the very beginning of $500 ang pao. After that she felt, "Hey, it's a hansom way to make money!" (Charging from interest to profit). So I can say is almost 50/50.

4. From Pete, he used to living in Shang Hai together with his family and started blogging 6 years ago. He get excited when traveling around, realized that it can also gain popularity and it's when most of the people start blogging for profit that he enjoy till now. He done a lot of freelance writing to some of the government agency about them and also get sponsors from big companies.
*So conclusion - You gotta know "Most of the people start from hobby & Interest..."
#2 So the questions come in, "Can your blogging sustainable & gain profitable earning?
Ans from Christine - "You can monetize from other services like write good article to submit. Blogging for the sake of money some time spoiled your personal image."
Ans from Daniel - "No because most of the restaurant can get a lot of free blogs and reviews.You need to gel in other services"
Ans from Grace - "No, cause it depends. Some of the people don't pay for review just because no people will automatically "pay you". Every bloggers should precious their time and it's right to ask for compensation for your good blogging deed."
Ans from Peter -"The biggest pay out from bloggers is more personal gratitude compare to money."
#3 So Should it be good for blogger to Sell for Profit?
Daniel: "I selling consultancy service. Provide reviews, guide lines and recommendations. Blogging is about my passion and interest, however there isn't wrong to make profit out of it."

#4 So How you get yourself noticeable by big brand or company?
Ans - Grace , "Blogger is not beggar, you need attract the company instead of direct approach or spam them with emails." Starting from buying the product itself, try and use it and give interesting feedback. Your potential client that also marketing similar range of product will find the feedback was valuable and approach you to review for them. It's not necessarily just the brand your targeting with.
Ans - Christine, "Understand consumer educate, know what is the real facts in the world that people looking for. So for the strategy, you can get awareness from popular and worth engaging bloggers & celebrities. This bring real values to the readers."
Ans- Daniel, "Word of mouth is the major key and reputation are the important one."
#5 Will the blog bubble will burst anytime? (Can't blog for money?)
Ans- Pete. "Not possible, as it still evolving quickly in Singapore comparing from other country.The trend will kept going on."
Ans- Grace, "You not really make money on just writing blog post, sometime you also be the MCee, interviewer, open workshop other than simply blog post. You will gain traffic, network and a lot of opportunity that eventually will convert to money."
Ans- Christine, "You gonna ask yourself that can really make money from blog post? Is it enough to sustain if you are a real introvert person?If you only make one blog post for $500 monthly, you probably can't support your lifestyle."
Ans- "Daniel, Do most of the food blogger make Money? Not actually, mostly for leisure and hobby."
#6 So how you maintain the Integrity of your blog post?
- Ans Christine, "People interested on your life other than ads. The reader will felt losing values to continue visit you if you always having boring contents or just about ads. So choose only what you believe it, even they pay you for it. Like rejected the tarot card reader to blog about their services, since is not believable by myself. Will only share and agree those product and services that can make you appreciate with."
- Ans Peter, "Write something that can bring it up for your children to read in the future. Blog about Life and balance,maintain it with quality personal contenta. In this way, it's also easy to generate traffic."
- Ans Daniel, "As a full time blogger will consider it as the dilemma to reject it since about its the only income. They will need to strive for the balance."

- Ans Grace, "Always have a bottom line about what you can blog. Will consider about the tarot even not used to believe. Instead of blindly access, you can put up the challenge for the that so it can give more value to the readers.Honest about it and give the review which is true..
"So to conclude the last of the choice is to work hard on it, as long you put your heart and soul for better traffic."
- Pete, the web content is the exposure so it is do able just to put the ads.
- Grace, just for fun - as long you make plastic surgery it'll e popular.(Laught)
- Daniel, you need to invest yourself first to buy camera, go to eat the food and involve them in real.
- Christine, to improve traffic rates, you need to put a lot of heart and soul. You can consider about the SEO and do those little tips to improve it. Even she not bother to do it (since part time blogging)
#7 So about the blogging about spamming brand, any wrong of a full time blogger? Are they also doing Sales?
- Ans Grace, is always good to have recommendation to go into that company (beauty blogger). Exchange the "plus 1", bringing another friend together or with other blogger to go with it.
#8 Does any one here will give it up blogging?
- Pete, you are blogging your interest, you can just stop or write lesser blog about it. Know what our write and who will read it, in the office will replaying your stories. Should always keep it secret.
- Christine, when get flaming some time will feel want to stop to keep the personal blog that should not cross to your work. persona is it better favoring you career? The network give you an edge also the trend that bring her about a super media user that giving advantage.
- Daniel, can just give it a break and rest for a moment to ready other people's.
#9 Food tasting reviews? What in the case that when the product is really Bad...
- Daniel, need to consider about other element and put event. But never tolerant about bad food.
- Grace, need to avoid the awful food and aim it tactful to keep the good around it.
- Christine, a curtesy to write something good for the business dealing.
Especially for the Paid Reviews...
- Daniel, normally follow a template way to beautify it.
What offer happen when the food is really good, but other review about it bad...
- Daniel, visit at least twice and understand from the boss.
#10 Do you read other people blog?
- Christine, no only those bookmark and credible blog - especially beauty products.
- Pete, also only focus and use those from the social media, like he always like to read Christine blog.
- Grace, like to read other people blog and subscribe to people blogs and especially love to give comments. People do subscription on 2 ways.
- Daniel, always learn from others.
